I am a Writer/Producer with a passion for story telling. Whether the platform is film, television or digital media, a great story is a great story and I enjoy creating, writing and producing them.

I learned my craft in Los Angeles, where I was Producing, Line Producing and Production managing feature films. I worked in the realms of indie film making and shot over a dozen movies: http://www.imdb.com/name/nm1075025. I am a bonded Line Producer and the member of the Directors Guild of America as a Unit Production Manager.

It was not until I moved to South Africa in 2006 when I started to create, write and produce television and digital/viral projects. From game shows to educational programs and documentaries, I had the good fortune of doing it all. I teamed up with Velocity Films two years ago to create a digital division called Tenacity New Media which I ran till 2011. Getting involved in not only the television, but also the viral aspects of advertising and marketing industry was an awesome learning experience.

My passion is teaching, which is why I joined AFDA http://www.afda.co.za in 2008. Here I have been supervising and mentoring  student film productions and lecturing  film production related subjects such as producing, production managing, scheduling, budgeting, writing for budgets etc. I have also created an Assistant Director short course which I have been teaching to great success.
